The owners of Insane Sausages, based in Vinton, Louisiana, have embarked on an exciting expansion into the Orange market with their newest brand, Insane Chicken. Construction has begun on their new building located at 1602 W. Hart Avenue in Orange, Texas. This venture marks an expansion of the wildly popular Insane Sausages, which has built a loyal following across the region.

 

Insane Chicken will introduce a fresh model that combines the convenience of fast food with the unique flavors of Insane Sausages. The new location will feature a drive-thru for quick service, along with a cooler stocked with sausage creations made famous by the original Insane Sausages brand. This blend of traditional and innovative offerings is expected to attract a wide range of customers eager to experience the bold flavors Insane Sausages is known for.

 

In support of this venture, Assistant Economic Development Director Hillary Gravett presented a proposal to the Orange City Council in November 2023. The proposal sought approval for an Economic Development Corporation (EDC) incentive to fund eligible infrastructure improvements for the new Insane Chicken location, emphasizing the potential for economic growth in the area.

 

Platinum Dining Club members are particularly excited about the addition of Insane Chicken to their roster of participating restaurants. The dining club, which spans over 150 locations across Southeast Texas, Houston, and Southwest Louisiana, offers members a 10% discount at all affiliated establishments.
