**Beaumont, Texas** — Exciting changes are on the horizon for Beaumont's culinary scene, as two beloved local businesses prepare to relocate and expand in the coming weeks.

Todd Slaughter, the owner of Honey B Ham, currently located at 6385 Calder Avenue, is set to move his operation a few miles down the road to the former site of Bocca Felice at 4405 Calder Avenue, in the Westbrook Center at Thomas Road. The new location is currently undergoing renovations, with a projected opening date in mid to late October. In the meantime, the original Honey B Ham location will remain open until the transition is complete.

Lyons says that Chef Ware is looking to sell his  New York Pizza and Bocca Felice brands, as the original locations struggled with foot traffic despite online support. The move to the Bocca Felice location on Calder is seen as a positive step for Honey B Ham, and the community is optimistic about the restaurant's future in the new space.

In another significant development, the iconic Mr. Burger on East Lucas, which closed recently after more than 50 years of serving up its famous hamburgers and other popular items, will soon see new life. Juss Rabalais, the owner of the Smash Wagon food truck in Fannett, is remodeling the former Mr. Burger building and plans to open a new Smash Wagon location by September.   Rabalais hopes to carry this torch well by providing the best fried chicken, smash burgers, and eventually daiquiris in Beaumont, Texas.

Smash Wagon is also one of our Star Platinum Dining Club locations where our thousands of members can save a few bucks everytime they dine. Lyons says that the Dining Club Members will definitely embrace this new location with lots of love & enthusiasm.

With these upcoming changes, Beaumont residents can look forward to exciting new dining options while continuing to enjoy the familiar flavors they love.
